#onemonth2go – The Tour de Pologne will start in just one month!

Time is running out before the start of the 79th Tour de Pologne. In just 30 days, cyclists will once again be battling on the Polish roads for victory in the general classification of the Energa from the ORLEN Group. The Lotto Soudal team has also confirmed the participation of Tim Wellens in the Polish race – winner of the 2016 Tour de Pologne.

The time since the end of the previous edition has passed very quickly, and in just one month’s time riders from the best professional cycling groups in the world will appear at the start line in Kielce, from where they will set off across Poland to finish their struggles after covering nearly 1,200 kilometres at Kraków’s Błonia Park. The line-up for this year’s race promises to be very interesting. Richard Carapaz from Ineos Grenadiers – the Olympic champion from Tokyo – has already unofficially announced his participation, as well as Biniam Girmay from Intermache-Wanty-Gobert, who is the unquestionable star of this season.

The next edition of the Tour de Pologne will traditionally be a great event that will attract millions of fans to the route and in front of their TV sets. Broadcasting of the race is already confirmed on five continents, which will ensure excellent promotion of the discipline, but also of our country.

 

In 2022, the motto of the Tour de Pologne will be ‘Race for Peace’. This is a form of support for our closest neighbours from across the eastern border. – We want to run a race that is based on the principles of brotherhood and peace.
